Greta E. Daiber
Greta E. Daiber is a founding partner of Smith & Daiber, L.L.C.. She is a native resident of the St. Louis metropolitan area. Previously, she practiced with St. Louis defense firms representing a variety of employers and insurance companies, including Fortune 500 companies. Greta has extensive experience representing clients in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury law, and traffic violations. She also concentrates in the areas of estate planning and elder law.
Greta handles cases in the State of Missouri and is member of the Missouri Bar, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, St. Charles Bar Association, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.
Greta received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Fontbonne University. Greta obtained a law degree from the University of Missouri where she received the CALI Excellence Award in ElderLaw, wrote for the Journal of Dispute Resolution and was on the dean’s list. In addition, Greta has been a frequent speaker on various law topics.
Outside of the law, Greta enjoys spending time with her family, biking and hiking. She is a St. Louis Zoo member and Kids’ Chance Volunteer.
Dorothy A. Smith
Dorothy A. Smith is a founding partner of Smith & Daiber, L.L.C. She is a lifelong resident of St. Charles County. She previously practiced law with St. Louis defense firms where she represented employers and insurance companies, including several Fortune 500 companies. Dorothy has extensive experience in the areas of workers’ compensation, insurance defense, administrative law, and traffic violations. She also concentrates in the areas of estate planning and elder law.Dorothy handles cases in the State of Missouri and is a member of the Missouri Bar, St. Charles Bar Association, and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Dorothy received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Maryville University. She then obtained her law degree from St. Louis University where she was active in the Women’s Law Association, law clinic and was a David Grant Clinic Award nominee.
In addition, Dorothy has worked as a clerk with the Missouri Court of Appeals, interned at the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate where she helped represent abused and neglected children in the family court system.
Outside of law, Dorothy is an avid science fiction fan and enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and walking in area parks.
